If Phillip Cabanag had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Arthur Malayang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederick Caballero having to interfere. Robot Guanlao made an important save on a dangerous shot by Phillip Cabanag in the 59th minute. Phillip Cabanag who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Robot Guanlao when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Phillip Cabanag got free with Robot Guanlao in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 67 played minutes Withernsea got a freekick which was hit by Arthur Malayang. Phillip Cabanag struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Robot Guanlao didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newton on Ouse. Newton on Ouse's Wallace Lumungsod got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Phillip Cabanag had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Withernsea's Robot Guanlao proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Withernsea from getting a goal against them. With his leg Robot Guanlao managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Newton on Ouse's Phillip Cabanag fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Frederick Caballero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vincent Leyson, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 84th match minute, Newton on Ouse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wallace Lumungsod to maneuver through the defense. Phillip Cabanag sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Arthur Malayang managed to get in a good position for a shot. Withernsea's supporters rose to their feet, but Arthur Malayang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frederick Caballero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eliezer Juagdan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Withernsea players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
