Edgar Palugod dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some careless play in the GenSan defense, Ding Lauzon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgar Palugod. The GenSan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgar Palugod should have stopped the shot. If Ding Lauzon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Ding Lauzon made a precise shot to the right of Edgar Palugod. GenSan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Edgar Palugod showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ding Lauzon, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the game, Pacifico Bascon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Edgar Palugod was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edgar Palugod showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Floyd Bahadoran in the 42nd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, GenSan's goal looked a bit too open when Floyd Bahadoran came free, but Edgar Palugod reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar Palugod didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mats Caballero went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The wind increased when Oliverios Lombos made the kick off in the second half. Romnick Sarigumba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robbie Neilson having to interfere. Edgar Palugod was a little too slow when Mats Caballero got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 0-7. GenSan's Edgar Palugod played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mats Caballero in the 57th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Pacifico Bascon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgar Palugod. GenSan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pacifico Bascon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. In the 63rd minute, Mats Caballero reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edgar Palugod. The goal made the score 0-9. In the 65th minute, Ding Lauzon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Caballero in the 69th minute of play forced GenSan's goalkeeper Edgar Palugod to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. GenSan's Edgar Palugod played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ding Lauzon in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st minute Pacifico Bascon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Palugod saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgar Palugod made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Floyd Bahadoran sent off a good shot on target.
