With a little luck, Kyoto Sanga F.C.'s Bayan Bonzon got control of the ball when Ira Banaag tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Bloomsbury AFC defense, Archie Balabagan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isko Yuson. The Bloomsbury AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isko Yuson should have stopped the shot. Isko Yuson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clarence Pumaren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Bloomsbury AFC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Timothy Caminos hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, Archie Balabagan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isko Yuson. Bloomsbury AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Archie Balabagan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 24th minute Archie Balabagan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isko Yuson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Archie Balabagan scored 0-5 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isko Yuson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 30th minute, Nicholas Macasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isko Yuson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. After some careless play in the Bloomsbury AFC defense, Archie Balabagan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isko Yuson. The Bloomsbury AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isko Yuson should have stopped the shot. Isko Yuson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clarence Pumaren's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. After the first half Kyoto Sanga F.C. were leading 0-8. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Clarence Pumaren was the one to do the kick off. Isko Yuson didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 52nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-9. Bloomsbury AFC's Isko Yuson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Bloomsbury AFC from getting a goal against them. Ramil Nogoy's late challenge caught a Kyoto Sanga F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramil Nogoy helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Kyoto Sanga F.C. booed when Bloomsbury AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clarence Pumaren had several of the Bloomsbury AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 69 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-12 score and a disappointed Isko Yuson as he didn't even see the shot coming. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clarence Pumaren in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isko Yuson saved Bloomsbury AFC from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Clarence Pumaren kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Isko Yuson. That made the score 0-13 in the 75 minute of play. Isko Yuson stood somewhat misplaced when Clarence Pumaren came free in front of goal and shot 0-14 to the left of him in the 78 minute. Clarence Pumaren who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Isko Yuson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Bloomsbury AFC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Natanael Quengua hit a great ball. With his leg Isko Yuson managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Kyoto Sanga F.C.'s Clarence Pumaren fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Kyoto Sanga F.C. played a much better game than Bloomsbury AFC and deserved their victory. The Bloomsbury AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
