He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 36 minutes into the match, Redbourn's goal looked a bit too open when Stanley Macapugay came free, but Frederico Balondo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christopher Pelayon kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. The supporters of Redbourn booed when General Santos City AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kapayas Benitez didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Perry Malacad to make the kick off. Ben Liboon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Luzon Allado made a huge save. In the 60th match minute, General Santos City AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jay Lorenzo to maneuver through the defense. Frederico Balondo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stanley Macapugay went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, General Santos City AFC's Jay Quiocson got a free kick in the 67th minute. General Santos City AFC's Luzon Allado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save General Santos City AFC from getting a goal against them. 75 minutes into the match, Romnick Tengco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frederico Balondo. Redbourn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Romnick Tengco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 81st minute Armand Maduli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luzon Allado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frederico Balondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanley Macapugay in the 82nd minute of the match. Inocencio Omaga kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Jay Quiocson kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After 85 played minutes, Redbourn's Jeffrey Yengko shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luzon Allado came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Redbourn reached it. After some careless play in the Redbourn defense, Romnick Tengco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frederico Balondo. The Redbourn fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frederico Balondo should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. General Santos City AFC had played much better football throughout.
