Luzon Allado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franklin Naguiat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Regelio Pendang was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 25th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Regelio Pendang in the 27th minute of play forced General Santos City AFC's goalkeeper Luzon Allado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gani Delasin's late challenge caught a KidlingtonF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gani Delasin helped the player get up and apologised. After 27 played minutes General Santos City AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gani Delasin. In the 28th minute of the match Regelio Pendang shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luzon Allado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 32 minutes into the match, General Santos City AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Regelio Pendang came free, but Luzon Allado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of KidlingtonF booed when General Santos City AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jay Lorenzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luzon Allado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Regelio Pendang in the 39th minute of play. Luzon Allado came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by KidlingtonF's Eliezer Cayco. But to his dismay, Eliezer Cayco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After the first half KidlingtonF were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Rizaldo Echin made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of KidlingtonF booed when General Santos City AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jay Lorenzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luzon Allado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elmer Santos in the 55th minute of play. General Santos City AFC's Luzon Allado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elmer Santos in the 57th minute of play. Luzon Allado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Regelio Pendang in the 61st minute. Luzon Allado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elmer Santos in the 62nd minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, General Santos City AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Regelio Pendang came free, but Luzon Allado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luzon Allado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boni Benipayo in the 73rd minute. A collision led to KidlingtonF getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Elmer Santos hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the match, KidlingtonF's goal looked a bit too open when Stanley Macapugay came free, but Gao Hao Quan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gao Hao Quan came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by General Santos City AFC's Stanley Macapugay. But to his dismay, Stanley Macapugay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 78 minutes into the game, Regelio Pendang recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luzon Allado. Regelio Pendang showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. In the 86th minute, Elmer Santos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KidlingtonF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3.
