The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Yohudid FC booed when Valenzuela Cargo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrew Quiambaw didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yohudid FC's Ambrosio Calambacal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charlie Tanjangco in the 14th minute of play. In the 14th match minute, Valenzuela Cargo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrew Quiambaw to maneuver through the defense. Valenzuela Cargo's Adam Laganson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Balondo in the 16th minute of play. Adam Laganson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dennis Balondo's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Florence Tagasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ambrosio Calambacal having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Valenzuela Cargo's Ambrosio Calambacal threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Charlie Tanjangco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florence Tagasa got free with Ambrosio Calambacal in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yohudid FC's Dennis Balondo got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Archie Bunsoy struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Adam Laganson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yohudid FC. Florence Tagasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ambrosio Calambacal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrew Quiambaw, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Pards Manawis lost his temper 51 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florence Tagasa in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ambrosio Calambacal saved Yohudid FC from getting behind. Ambrosio Calambacal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yao Sipin in the 90th minute of play. Yohudid FC's Dennis Balondo got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 92 minutes of play, Yohudid FC's Dennis Balondo made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adam Laganson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Orville Sucaldito kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
