Bloomsbury AFC were furious when Harold Bedic was red carded, 4 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 7th minute there was a penalty for General Santos City AFC. Stanley Macapugay stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Isko Yuson. 0-1. Isko Yuson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romnick Tengco's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute, Stanley Macapugay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The General Santos City AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romnick Tengco in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isko Yuson saved Bloomsbury AFC from getting behind. In the 19thth minute of the game Romnick Tengco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bloomsbury AFC's Isko Yuson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Stanley Macapugay scored 0-3 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isko Yuson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The General Santos City AFC fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when General Santos City AFC's Romnick Tengco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 28th minute, Romnick Tengco made a precise shot to the right of Isko Yuson. Bloomsbury AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Freddy Mellendrez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Luzon Allado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stanley Macapugay took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isko Yuson. Isko Yuson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Isko Yuson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanley Macapugay in the 38th minute of the match. Freddy Mellendrez kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Bloomsbury AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Stanley Macapugay came free, but Isko Yuson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

After a rather tough play, Bloomsbury AFC's Freddy Mellendrez got a free kick in the 54th minute. If Ira Banaag had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isko Yuson was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Stanley Macapugay capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Stanley Macapugay really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Romnick Tengco put it in 0-10 from a short distance just to the right of Isko Yuson. With a little luck, Bloomsbury AFC's Isko Yuson got control of the ball when Romnick Tengco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Isko Yuson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanley Macapugay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romnick Tengco had several of the Bloomsbury AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 76 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-11 score and a disappointed Isko Yuson as he didn't even see the shot coming. Isko Yuson made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Romnick Tengco sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romnick Tengco in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isko Yuson saved Bloomsbury AFC from getting behind. Romnick Tengco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Isko Yuson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the final whistle sounded General Santos City AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bloomsbury AFC.
