Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kitam Chaniago took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in PSM Telukradang's zone, Porman Ie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tono Kaban came out of the goal and Porman Ie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 13 minutes, Kitam Chaniago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PSM Telukradang's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kitam Chaniago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kitam Chaniago took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cecep Idris. Cecep Idris dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 20thth minute of the game Bulsky Kooth who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but malaysia's Cecep Idris was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. malaysia's Cecep Idris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bulsky Kooth in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind PSM Telukradang's goalkeeper Tono Kaban, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 27th match minute, malaysia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jojo Sinambela to maneuver through the defense. If Kitam Chaniago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tono Kaban stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Porman Ie's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. In the 44th minute, Porman Ie reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tono Kaban. The goal made the score 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Porman Ie to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match malaysia got a corner. PSM Telukradang's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dian Arbi ran over to the corner to take the kick. Kitam Chaniago's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cecep Idris read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. In the 60th match minute, malaysia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dian Arbi to maneuver through the defense. Cecep Idris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kitam Chaniago, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 67 minutes into the match, PSM Telukradang's Henry Guci sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cecep Idris narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Daus Hidayat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Bulsky Kooth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cecep Idris was a little too slow when Kitam Chaniago got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 2-3. 96 minutes into the match, PSM Telukradang's Bulsky Kooth sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cecep Idris narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The malaysia fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. PSM Telukradang were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
