After 13 played minutes Wawesi got a freekick which was hit by Boy Guci. Andi Fitriansyah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Bento Sipayung tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boy Guchi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jojo Alexander having to interfere. Kajuwago were furious when Widodo Budiarto was red carded, 24 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee gave Wawesi a penalty, 27 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Andi Fitriansyah, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Kajuwago's Bento Sipayung. 0-1. In the 33rd minute Andi Fitriansyah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bento Sipayung saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Firdaus Ie came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Wawesi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Firdaus Ie couldn't finish the play. Jojo Alexander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rochy Fitriansyah in the 37th minute. A collision led to Wawesi getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jojo Alexander showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 70 minutes, Andi Fitriansyah managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wawesi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andi Fitriansyah was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Firdaus Ie dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bento Sipayung, 1-2. Firdaus Ie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Bento Sipayung made a huge save. Bento Sipayung made an important save on a dangerous shot by Firdaus Ie in the 77th minute. In the 79th minute, Steve Mainaky hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Kajuwago's Fadhly Sipayung got a free kick in the 92nd minute. A collision led to Kajuwago getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Alan Febrian hit a great ball. Wawesi's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
