Spectators: 6745 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1745, VIP seats: 0) Dede Wibowo made the kick off and thus started the match. A collision led to PSS Rantau getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Mario Waluyo hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the match, PSS Rantau's goal looked a bit too open when Ari Eiboy came free, but Uum Kooth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kitam Guchi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Uum Kooth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Uum Pane got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dede Wibowo in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nasum Panjaitan saved PSM Telukangsan from getting behind. In the 20th match minute, PSM Telukangsan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricky Darwis to maneuver through the defense. Uum Pane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Uum Pane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Uum Pane got free with Nasum Panjaitan in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dede Wibowo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of PSS Rantau booed when PSM Telukangsan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricky Darwis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute, Uum Pane got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Uum Kooth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ari Eiboy in the 44th minute of play. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Ari Eiboy sped through PSS Rantau's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Uum Kooth. The PSS Rantau players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. PSM Telukangsan were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ari Eiboy was the one to do the kick off. Dede Wibowo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nasum Panjaitan having to interfere. Uum Pane might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nasum Panjaitan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Uum Pane ran back to his position shaking his head. Nasum Panjaitan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dede Wibowo in the 60th minute of play. Uum Pane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Nasum Panjaitan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dede Wibowo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nasum Panjaitan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the game, PSM Telukangsan's Kitam Guchi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Uum Kooth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 76 minutes into the match, Uum Pane had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nasum Panjaitan. PSM Telukangsan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Uum Pane was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. When Dede Wibowo came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the PSS Rantau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dede Wibowo couldn't finish the play. Kitam Guchi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ari Eiboy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing PSM Telukangsan would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
