If Hastomo Simanungkalit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Firdaus Bangun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Jojo Sinulingga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mulyana Fitriansyah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fadh Fitriansyah in the 13th minute of play. Sipiongot Arbi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joko Putiray's late challenge caught a Sunway Lions's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When Elie Priyatno fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PSP Bosnapraidi's protests and gave Elie Priyatno a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd match minute, PSP Bosnapraidi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elie Priyatno to maneuver through the defense. When the match had been going on for 36 minutes, Sunway Lions's Fery Ie got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jojo Sinulingga. In the 42nd minute, Ade Sitepu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Steve Wijaya charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Steve Wijaya the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 49 played minutes Sunway Lions got a freekick which was hit by Steve Wijaya. In the 49th minute of the match Iswadi Reza sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mulyana Fitriansyah skillfully saved the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fadh Fitriansyah stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Leonard Idris notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Sunway Lions's Mulyana Fitriansyah. Mulyana Fitriansyah was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Leonard Idris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. In the 64th minute, Hastomo Simanungkalit got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jojo Sinulingga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sipiongot Arbi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Leonard Idris managed to get in a good position for a shot. PSP Bosnapraidi's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonard Idris was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mulyana Fitriansyah breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fadh Fitriansyah in the 72nd minute of play forced Sunway Lions's goalkeeper Mulyana Fitriansyah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 73 played minutes Sunway Lions got a freekick which was hit by Steve Wijaya. Sipiongot Arbi might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jojo Sinulingga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sipiongot Arbi ran back to his position shaking his head. Bulsky Sugendo charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bulsky Sugendo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bulsky Sugendo kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Micky Haryanto-Ie hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Sunway Lions's Mulyana Fitriansyah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fadh Fitriansyah in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute PSP Bosnapraidi were awarded a corner. Iswadi Reza went to the cornerflag to take it. A very nice done corner allowed Fadh Fitriansyah to score against Mulyana Fitriansyah in Sunway Lions's goal. 1-2 after 87 minutes. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fadh Fitriansyah in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mulyana Fitriansyah prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fadh Fitriansyah recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
