Seating: 1758, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Micky Budikusuma got the match started through his kick off. Micky Budikusuma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 4 played minutes Bumiratu got a freekick which was hit by Putu Oktavianus. After having played for 5 minutes, Micky Budikusuma managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PSM Batulayang's supporters crossed their fingers, but Micky Budikusuma was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Wahyu Ketaren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hastomo Barus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Budi Haryanto during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 13 played minutes PSM Batulayang got a freekick which was hit by Budi Haryanto. 20 minutes into the match, Bumiratu's Rio Darwis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yahya Akmal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rio Darwis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Yahya Akmal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Micky Budikusuma ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hardy Barus was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Micky Budikusuma got in the 31st a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Hardy Barus handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Hardy Barus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Micky Budikusuma in the 33rd minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Bumiratu's goal looked a bit too open when Micky Budikusuma came free, but Hardy Barus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hastomo Barus made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Micky Budikusuma got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fadh Pane charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fadh Pane the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fadh Pane hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute Rio Darwis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yahya Akmal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bumiratu's Rio Darwis got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 61st minute, Fadh Pane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Putu Oktavianus kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Micky Budikusuma had several of the Bumiratu's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 66 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Hardy Barus as he didn't even see the shot coming. Yahya Akmal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rio Darwis's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Hardy Barus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Micky Budikusuma in the 74th minute of play. Micky Budikusuma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Bumiratu's Hardy Barus got control of the ball when Wahyu Ketaren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Micky Budikusuma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hardy Barus having to interfere. If Wahyu Ketaren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. PSM Batulayang played a much better game than Bumiratu and deserved their victory. The Bumiratu players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
