After having played for 3 minutes, Fadh Ridliwan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PSS Rawameneng's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fadh Ridliwan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 5thth minute of the game Putu Sugendo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PSS Rawameneng's Donnie Sarwanto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. PSS Rawameneng's Donnie Sarwanto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save PSS Rawameneng from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, PSS Rawameneng's Jakob Haryanto got a free kick in the 9th minute. When Haryanto Sitepu came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Soekodjajo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haryanto Sitepu couldn't finish the play. Joko Tarigan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Porman Budiarto in the 20th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in PSS Rawameneng's zone, Haryanto Sitepu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donnie Sarwanto came out of the goal and Haryanto Sitepu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, PSS Rawameneng's Heri Yarman got a free kick in the 26th minute. A collision led to Soekodjajo getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Candra Budiarto hit a great ball. If Fadh Ridliwan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Porman Budiarto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 38 minutes, Cecep Dermawan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PSS Rawameneng and the Soekodjajo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 38 played minutes PSS Rawameneng got a freekick which was hit by Cecep Dermawan. After a rather tough play, PSS Rawameneng's Cecep Dermawan got a free kick in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bento Aswin in the 43rd minute of play forced PSS Rawameneng's goalkeeper Donnie Sarwanto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Porman Budiarto to strike the kick off in the second half. Putu Sugendo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Donnie Sarwanto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donnie Sarwanto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haryanto Sitepu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute Putu Sugendo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donnie Sarwanto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute, Putu Sugendo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Soekodjajo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Joko Tarigan was a little too slow when Fadh Ridliwan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Candra Budiarto during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 71st match minute, Soekodjajo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candra Budiarto to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, PSS Rawameneng's Tiar Chaniago broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 74 minutes into the match, Soekodjajo's goalkeeper Joko Tarigan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fadh Ridliwan. Porman Budiarto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joko Tarigan having to make a save. 80 minutes into the game, PSS Rawameneng's Fadh Ridliwan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joko Tarigan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. If Haryanto Sitepu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Porman Budiarto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. PSS Rawameneng's Porman Budiarto got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. PSS Rawameneng's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
