In the 10th match minute, Mergosono was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jojo Darwis to maneuver through the defense. Pandapotan Oktavianus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dede Kusumah went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Djati Akmal's late challenge caught a chelviji's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Djati Akmal helped the player get up and apologised. Djati Akmal kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. The supporters of Mergosono booed when chelviji was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kitam Fitriansyah didn't get a good kick on the ball. When chelviji's Kitam Fitriansyah in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 4-0 became the score in the 41st minute when Dede Kusumah elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, Jatuh Sitepu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pandapotan Oktavianus was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 47 minutes into the match, Mergosono's goalkeeper Pandapotan Oktavianus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dede Kusumah. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Joko Guci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Candra Arbi having to interfere. Mergosono's Pandapotan Oktavianus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Micky Ginting in the 58th minute of play. Pandapotan Oktavianus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jatuh Sitepu in the 61st minute of play. In the 67th minute, Jatuh Sitepu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pandapotan Oktavianus was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Dede Kusumah managed to get in a good position for a shot. chelviji's supporters rose to their feet, but Dede Kusumah was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pandapotan Oktavianus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Mergosono booed when chelviji was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jatuh Sitepu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Mergosono's goal looked a bit too open when Jatuh Sitepu came free, but Pandapotan Oktavianus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Firdaus Simanungkalit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Candra Arbi having to interfere. In the 88th minute of the match Andra Yarman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pandapotan Oktavianus skillfully saved the ball. Pandapotan Oktavianus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kitam Fitriansyah in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dede Kusumah in the 91st minute of play forced Mergosono's goalkeeper Pandapotan Oktavianus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mergosono's Joko Guci got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Firdaus Simanungkalit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
