The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Fery Budikusuma's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vitan Srúndev was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. After the first half Junwei were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Wahyu Eiboy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 55th minute, Fery Budikusuma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hardy Budikusuma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fryderyk Kluczyk having to interfere. Fryderyk Kluczyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daus Panjaitan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fery Budikusuma could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Vitan Srúndev made a huge save. Vitan Srúndev was a little too slow when Fery Budikusuma got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 97th minute. The score was now 1-3.
