After some careless play in the Talumopatu defense, Gio Moreno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Porman Kooth. The Talumopatu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Porman Kooth should have stopped the shot. Talumopatu's Fery Budiarto got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 17th minute Leonard Ridliwan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitan Srúndev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vitan Srúndev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fery Budiarto in the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fery Budiarto in the 20th minute of play forced April 16's goalkeeper Vitan Srúndev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gio Moreno did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Porman Kooth 21 minutes into the match. Leonard Ridliwan scored 2-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vitan Srúndev, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of April 16 booed when Talumopatu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fery Panjaitan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Fery Budiarto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vitan Srúndev was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. In the 45th minute, Daus Panjaitan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 47 minutes, Fadh Idris mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Talumopatu and the April 16 players grew even worse after the yellow card.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nasum Oktavianus to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes Talumopatu's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daus Panjaitan who took care of the corner kick. Hélio de Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Porman Kooth having to interfere. Porman Kooth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Budi Hans, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Porman Kooth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Budi Hans in the 62nd minute of the match. Daus Panjaitan got his second yellow card in the match during the 64th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. 63 minutes into the game, one of April 16:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 75th minute Romi Wibowo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitan Srúndev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nasum Oktavianus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute, Leonard Ridliwan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonard Ridliwan in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vitan Srúndev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th match minute, Talumopatu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fadhly Darwis to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nasum Oktavianus in the 86th minute of play forced Talumopatu's goalkeeper Porman Kooth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Porman Kooth came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by April 16's Budi Hans. But to his dismay, Budi Hans quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-4. Fery Budiarto came free with the goalkeeper in the 92nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vitan Srúndev could save by the left post. Romi Wibowo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
