The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wahyu Akmal during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 4 played minutes Kesemen got a freekick which was hit by Wahyu Akmal. Gisser's Hardy Ginting played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wahyu Akmal in the 7th minute of play. Martin Piliang hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the match, Kesemen's Haryanto Kaban broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Gisser's zone, Taufik Budiarto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hardy Ginting came out of the goal and Taufik Budiarto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th minute Taufik Budiarto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hardy Ginting saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hardy Ginting showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taufik Budiarto in the 21st minute of the match. After 22 minutes, Ari Haryanto-Ie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kesemen and the Gisser players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Gisser booed when Kesemen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ari Haryanto-Ie didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Taufik Budiarto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rabun Simamora recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Taufik Budiarto came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Kesemen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Taufik Budiarto couldn't finish the play. In the 38th minute, Taufik Budiarto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hardy Ginting showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taufik Budiarto in the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Taufik Budiarto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Rabun Simamora made the kick off in the second half. Kesemen's Ari Haryanto-Ie got his second yellow card of the match in the 51st minute. The referee ordered Ari Haryanto-Ie off the ground. 50 minutes into the game, one of Kesemen:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Rabun Simamora took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dian Waluyo. Dian Waluyo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The audience was convinced that Rabun Simamora's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dian Waluyo was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. 61 minutes into the match, Rabun Simamora notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Kesemen's Dian Waluyo. Dian Waluyo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Taufik Budiarto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Hardy Ginting tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Taufik Budiarto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Andi Muchtaji received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Dian Waluyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Rabun Simamora's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dian Waluyo was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Taufik Budiarto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Hardy Ginting tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes in the game, Taufik Budiarto fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Hardy Ginting having to interfere. Hardy Ginting took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elie Ramadhonna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rabun Simamora in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dian Waluyo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rabun Simamora scored 4-0 in the 98th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dian Waluyo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gisser's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
