In the 6th minute, Gio Moreno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kompos Febrian was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Braulio Castaño hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 15th match minute, PSS Tjitoedja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taufik Ramadhonna to maneuver through the defense. Taufik Ramadhonna's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Vitan Srúndev firmly grabbed it by the left post. 21 minutes into the match, April 16's goalkeeper Vitan Srúndev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ichwan Waluyo. Kompos Febrian stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gio Moreno's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. PSS Tjitoedja's Kompos Febrian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hardy Budikusuma in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, PSS Tjitoedja's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Castaño came free, but Kompos Febrian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 26 played minutes PSS Tjitoedja got a freekick which was hit by Rexy Sembiring. Braulio Castaño hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, April 16's Zeferino Veríssimo got a free kick in the 38th minute. 40 minutes into the game, Ichwan Waluyo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PSS Tjitoedja's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave April 16 the free kick. Ichwan Waluyo kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Kompos Febrian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hardy Budikusuma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daus Panjaitan charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daus Panjaitan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 46 minutes into the game, April 16's Hardy Budikusuma nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kompos Febrian made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hardy Budikusuma to make the kick off. When Rexy Sembiring was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 53 minutes had been played. In the 53rd minute, one of PSS Tjitoedja:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for PSS Tjitoedja. PSS Tjitoedja's Kompos Febrian proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save PSS Tjitoedja from getting a goal against them. In a very dangerous position, a player in PSS Tjitoedja fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! In the 59th minute there was a penalty for April 16. Daus Panjaitan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kompos Febrian. 0-4. Gio Moreno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Kompos Febrian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hardy Budikusuma got free with Kompos Febrian in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hardy Budikusuma in the 66th minute of play forced PSS Tjitoedja's goalkeeper Kompos Febrian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the match, PSS Tjitoedja's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Castaño came free, but Kompos Febrian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute Hardy Budikusuma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kompos Febrian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Taufik Ramadhonna hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 83rd match minute, PSS Tjitoedja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Femi Subagdja to maneuver through the defense. When Daus Panjaitan came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the April 16 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daus Panjaitan couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute, April 16's Hélio de Senna ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kompos Febrian. Kompos Febrian yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Gio Moreno in the 90thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kompos Febrian, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. PSS Tjitoedja's Kompos Febrian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hardy Budikusuma in the 93rd minute of play. Kompos Febrian didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Braulio Castaño went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. PSS Tjitoedja's Kompos Febrian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hardy Budikusuma in the 98th minute of play. April 16's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
