After having played for 12 minutes, Kitam Simamora managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bambapoela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kitam Simamora was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th match minute, Bambapoela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mahadi Barus to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the game, Sigit Eiboy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Awitke's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bambapoela the free kick. The supporters of Bambapoela booed when Awitke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sigit Eiboy didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Bambapoela's Mahadi Barus got a free kick in the 28th minute. A throw-in in the 30th minute of the game was made by Tono Martin with Mahadi Barus as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Mahadi Barus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Bambapoela getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Rexy Priyatno hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mahadi Barus to strike the kick off in the second half. Awitke's Joko Cahyono Putro managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Heri Darwis in the 56 minute of the game. In the 67th minute of the game Gendo Idris made a throw-in which Joko Cahyono Putro played forward. Haryanto Tarigan kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heri Darwis in the 73rd minute of play forced Awitke's goalkeeper Ade Simamora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 75 played minutes Bambapoela got a freekick which was hit by Kitam Simamora. Joko Cahyono Putro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jatuh Sinuhaji having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bambapoela's Budi Guchi got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute, Joko Cahyono Putro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mahadi Barus struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Ade Simamora didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bambapoela. When Joko Cahyono Putro came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Awitke fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joko Cahyono Putro couldn't finish the play. The throw-in from Heri Darwis in the 85th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Awitke's Haryanto Tarigan. Mahadi Barus might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ade Simamora. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mahadi Barus ran back to his position shaking his head. Ade Simamora showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mahadi Barus, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
