Vitan Srúndev was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ferry Ketaren showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 8 minute of play. Ferry Ketaren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitan Srúndev having to interfere. Joko Pane might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vitan Srúndev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joko Pane ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, PSP Baoerena's Kitam Karo-karo got a free kick in the 14th minute. Cecep Idris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hardy Budikusuma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 81 minutes, Gio Moreno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the April 16 and the PSP Baoerena players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kitam Karo-karo took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vitan Srúndev. Vitan Srúndev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in April 16's zone, Kitam Karo-karo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vitan Srúndev came out of the goal and Kitam Karo-karo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. April 16's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
