In the 2nd match minute, Talumopatu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fadh Idris to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fery Budiarto got free with Jatuh Sinuhaji in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Heri Darwis's late challenge caught a Talumopatu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Heri Darwis helped the player get up and apologised. 11 minutes into the match, Fadh Idris notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Bambapoela's Jatuh Sinuhaji. Jatuh Sinuhaji was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Porman Kooth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mahadi Barus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bambapoela's goalkeeper Jatuh Sinuhaji, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bambapoela's Mahadi Barus got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bambapoela's Jatuh Sinuhaji proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Bambapoela from getting a goal against them. Bambapoela's Jatuh Sinuhaji played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Ridliwan in the 28th minute of play. The supporters of Talumopatu booed when Bambapoela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Budi Guchi didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Mahadi Barus came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Bambapoela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mahadi Barus couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fadh Idris in the 41st minute of play forced Bambapoela's goalkeeper Jatuh Sinuhaji to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Talumopatu booed when Bambapoela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rabun Alexander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rabun Alexander charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rabun Alexander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th minute, Heri Sitepu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonard Ridliwan to strike the kick off in the second half. During the 51st minute of the match Rabun Alexander completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Rabun Alexander a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Bambapoela's Rabun Alexander got a free kick in the 51st minute. 53 minutes into the game, Talumopatu's Fery Budiarto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jatuh Sinuhaji made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Talumopatu's Romi Wibowo got a free kick in the 59th minute. Leonard Ridliwan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Jatuh Sinuhaji tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Talumopatu's Leonard Ridliwan got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonard Ridliwan in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jatuh Sinuhaji saved Bambapoela from getting behind. Heri Darwis kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Bambapoela's goal looked a bit too open when Fery Budiarto came free, but Jatuh Sinuhaji reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Talumopatu's Heri Sitepu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 81 minutes into the game, Sipiongot Ramadhonna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bambapoela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talumopatu the free kick. A collision led to Bambapoela getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Sipiongot Ramadhonna hit a great ball. Talumopatu's Leonard Ridliwan got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85th minute, Fery Budiarto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Talumopatu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 89 minutes into the match, Fadh Idris notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Bambapoela's Jatuh Sinuhaji. Jatuh Sinuhaji was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Romi Wibowo hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Heri Darwis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bambapoela's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Talumopatu had won, even though Bambapoela had held more of the ball.
