Pasepatan's supporters rose to their feet, but Mulyana Panjaitan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erling Halland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 14 played minutes PSP Mapan got a freekick which was hit by Eboy Sinambela. The audience was convinced that Bongky Ketaren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erling Halland was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. With a little luck, Pasepatan's Eboy Bangun got control of the ball when Rochy Budiarto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eboy Sinambela was shown his second yellow card after 57 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. PSP Mapan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rochy Budiarto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of PSP Mapan booed when Pasepatan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nasum Arbi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute, Fadhly Sinuhaji hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute Bongky Ketaren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erling Halland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, PSP Mapan's goal looked a bit too open when Bongky Ketaren came free, but Erling Halland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
