The referee ignored Bakuredjo's protests and gave Tiar Oktavianus a yellow card for diving instead. Bakuredjo's Fery Tarigan quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Porman Muchtaji, made in the 11th minute of the game. Iswadi Kusumah's late challenge caught a Lubukraja's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iswadi Kusumah helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Lubukraja booed when Bakuredjo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iswadi Kusumah didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manrut Yavichai blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mulyana Dermawan having to make a save. Selim Sadik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mulyana Dermawan having to interfere. Lubukraja's Zulfikar Ridliwan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joko Sinulingga in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of Bakuredjo booed when Lubukraja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Porman Muchtaji didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yahya Alexander kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Elie Martin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 30th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Selim Sadik during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joko Sinulingga in the 38th minute of play forced Lubukraja's goalkeeper Zulfikar Ridliwan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mulyana Dermawan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andris De Baere in the 42nd minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joko Sinulingga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Bakuredjo got a freekick which was hit by Iswadi Kusumah. Lubukraja's Selim Sadik got his second yellow card of the match in the 55th minute. The referee ordered Selim Sadik off the ground. 59 minutes into the game, Bulsky Ie recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zulfikar Ridliwan. Bulsky Ie showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Bakuredjo's Mulyana Dermawan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manrut Yavichai in the 65th minute of play. In the 74th minute, Joko Sinulingga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 76th minute, Andris De Baere got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andris De Baere fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mulyana Dermawan having to interfere. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lubukraja fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bakuredjo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
