Gendo Hans kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Bento Bangun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Taufik Eiboy, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rochy Budiarto in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bento Bangun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 10 played minutes PSP Mapan got a freekick which was hit by Eboy Sinambela. If Dian Darwis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 13 minutes, Andi Kooth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pilowo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andi Kooth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dian Darwiss short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Erling Halland to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Taufik Eiboy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rochy Budiarto in the 23rd minute of play forced Pilowo's goalkeeper Bento Bangun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Taufik Eiboy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bento Bangun was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Dian Darwis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erling Halland having to make a save. Dian Darwis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rochy Budiarto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bento Bangun having to interfere. If Dian Darwis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Andi Idris got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. PSP Mapan's Erling Halland proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save PSP Mapan from getting a goal against them. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Taufik Eiboy was the one to do the kick off. In the 61st minute, Femi Romatua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bento Bangun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taufik Eiboy in the 65th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Pilowo's zone, Taufik Eiboy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bento Bangun came out of the goal and Taufik Eiboy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Bento Bangun managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when PSP Mapan's Rochy Budiarto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 72nd minute of the match, Lelo Sarwanto got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bento Bangun was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Eboy Sinambela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bento Bangun having to interfere. Rochy Budiarto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bento Bangun having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eboy Sinambela in the 81st minute of play forced Pilowo's goalkeeper Bento Bangun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Taufik Eiboy scored 1-2 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bento Bangun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Nasum Sarwanto fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PSP Mapan's protests and gave Nasum Sarwanto a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, PSP Mapan's Nasum Sarwanto got a free kick in the 86th minute. 89 minutes in the game Nasum Sarwanto did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Lelo Sarwanto. Rochy Budiarto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bento Bangun having to make a save. Eboy Sinambela charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eboy Sinambela the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dian Darwis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Erling Halland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dian Darwis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched PSP Mapan eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
