Bento Bangun was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jatuh Febrian showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Elie Haryanto-Ie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37thth minute of the game Darius Tarigan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pilowo's Bento Bangun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 37th minute, Gendo Hans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Darius Tarigan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bento Bangun. That made the score 2-1 in the 38 minute of play. Mario Simamora made in the 44th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Andi Kooth. Andi Idris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute of the match Mario Simamora sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cecep Romatua skillfully saved the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Cecep Romatua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andi Idris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The long shot by Zulfikri Perangin-angin in the 60th minute really tested Cecep Romatua's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Bento Bangun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakob Waluyo in the 64th minute of play. Elie Haryanto-Ie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Darius Tarigan was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 68 minutes had been played. In the 69th minute, Darius Tarigan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dian Darwis scored 2-2 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cecep Romatua, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
