The PSM Cigun fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. 42 minutes into the game, Hardy Waluyo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Rabun Sinambela was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Kaberpan getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Hastomo Barus hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elie Haryanto-Ie was the one to do the kick off. Jakob Waluyo might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rabun Sinambela. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jakob Waluyo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 55thth minute of the game Elie Haryanto-Ie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kaberpan's Rabun Sinambela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 56th match minute, Kaberpan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bento Rai to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the PSM Cigun defense, Hastomo Barus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cecep Romatua. The PSM Cigun fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cecep Romatua should have stopped the shot. Kaberpan's Rabun Sinambela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elie Haryanto-Ie in the 80th minute of play. When Elie Haryanto-Ie came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the PSM Cigun fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elie Haryanto-Ie couldn't finish the play. PSM Cigun's Jatuh Febrian got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th match minute, PSM Cigun was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bongky Budiarto to maneuver through the defense. 97 minutes into the match, PSM Cigun's goal looked a bit too open when Hastomo Barus came free, but Cecep Romatua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Kaberpan fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. PSM Cigun were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
