Spectators: 10908 (Terracing: 8182, Seating: 2509, VIP seats: 217) Faisal Halim started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Djati Simamora hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Jonas Salk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Aubameyang in the 4th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Penang Island's Joko Febrian got a free kick in the 5th minute. Jonas Salk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles De Ketelaere, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Penang Island's Jonas Salk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Aubameyang in the 15th minute of play. With a little luck, Penang Island's Jonas Salk got control of the ball when Lucas Aubameyang tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonas Salk made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Lucas Aubameyang sent off a good shot on target. Jonas Salk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Aubameyang in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th match minute, Borneo Legacy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ari Wibowo to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the match, Penang Island's goalkeeper Jonas Salk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucas Aubameyang. Jonas Salk made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Charles De Ketelaere sent off a good shot on target. Jonas Salk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Aubameyang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gendo Waluyo hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucas Aubameyang to make the kick off. After 50 minutes of play, Borneo Legacy's Lucas Aubameyang made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonas Salk was left in no man's land by his defense there! 54 minutes into the match, Lucas Aubameyang had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonas Salk. Penang Island's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucas Aubameyang was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Borneo Legacy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aurelian Groza in the 57th minute. In the 60th minute of the match Aurelian Groza shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonas Salk showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 65th minute Lucas Aubameyang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Salk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 72 minutes, Charles De Ketelaere made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Penang Island's Jonas Salk tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonas Salk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Aubameyang in the 75th minute of play. Penang Island's Jonas Salk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelian Groza in the 78th minute of play. Haikal Sitepu kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Banan Banana hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Lucas Aubameyang took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonas Salk. Jonas Salk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. When the referee ended the match the Borneo Legacy players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
