Firdaus Arbi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th play minute Fadhly Haryanto-Ie came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Andi Simamora. 6-0. After 46 played minutes Original Sabahan got a freekick which was hit by Yao Jian Lei. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Firdaus Arbi made the kick off in the second half. Elie Pane's late challenge caught a Original Sabahan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elie Pane helped the player get up and apologised. Original Sabahan made a substitution. Cecep Wijaya replaced Dewa Kooth. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Original Sabahan fully deserved thier win.
