Budi Aswin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ibrahim Dal having to make a save. 8 minutes into the match, brocuba2's goal looked a bit too open when Budi Aswin came free, but Ibrahim Dal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Darius Sinuraya had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonas Salk. Penang Island's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Darius Sinuraya was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Djati Simamora could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Ibrahim Dal made a huge save. A collision led to Penang Island getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Budi Aswin hit a great ball. If Alfredo Tabby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The brocuba2 fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when brocuba2's Eusebiu Buzgar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Djati Simamora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Djati Simamora in the 42nd minute of play forced brocuba2's goalkeeper Ibrahim Dal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 49 minutes into the game, Djati Simamora recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ibrahim Dal. Djati Simamora showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. brocuba2 made a substitution. Tiar Haryanto replaced Steve Oktavianus. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Alfredo Tabby made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, brocuba2's Alfredo Tabby got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 67th minute, Alfredo Tabby ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonas Salk was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. After a rather tough play, Penang Island's Faisal Halim got a free kick in the 70th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eusebiu Buzgar got free with Jonas Salk in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 72nd match minute, Penang Island was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gendo Waluyo to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the match, Penang Island's goal looked a bit too open when Rupertas Karalius came free, but Jonas Salk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. brocuba2's Ibrahim Dal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faisal Halim in the 75th minute of play. A collision led to Penang Island getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Gendo Waluyo hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in brocuba2's zone, Faisal Halim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ibrahim Dal came out of the goal and Faisal Halim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Djati Simamora came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Penang Island fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Djati Simamora couldn't finish the play. Penang Island were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after brocuba2's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joko Febrian took the corner. brocuba2's Ibrahim Dal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Budi Aswin in the 94th minute of play. Bahri Özkent hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Faisal Halim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ibrahim Dal having to interfere. In the 98th minute Rupertas Karalius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Salk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. brocuba2 played a much better game than Penang Island and deserved their victory. The Penang Island players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
