The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hastomo Budikusuma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yahya Kılıçaslan, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 8th minute Fadhly Haryanto-Ie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hastomo Budikusuma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hastomo Budikusuma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristoforo Strazzabosco in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yahya Kılıçaslan in the 11th minute of play forced Jeretwar FC's goalkeeper Hastomo Budikusuma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hastomo Budikusuma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Micky Febrian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute, Micky Febrian made a precise shot to the right of Hastomo Budikusuma. Jeretwar FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 16th minute, Yahya Kılıçaslan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Original Sabahan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Hastomo Budikusuma came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Original Sabahan's Yahya Kılıçaslan. But to his dismay, Yahya Kılıçaslan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. If Yahya Kılıçaslan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 27 minutes, Fadhly Haryanto-Ie made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Jeretwar FC's Hastomo Budikusuma tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 30 minutes of play, Original Sabahan's Yahya Kılıçaslan made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hastomo Budikusuma was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 37th minute, Martin Barus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Haryanto Eiboy fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jeretwar FC's protests and gave Haryanto Eiboy a yellow card for diving instead. After 38 played minutes Jeretwar FC got a freekick which was hit by Haryanto Eiboy. Fadhly Haryanto-Ie took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hastomo Budikusuma. Hastomo Budikusuma dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Micky Febrian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hastomo Budikusuma having to interfere. Hastomo Budikusuma didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Micky Febrian went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. After the first half Original Sabahan were leading 0-9. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cacá Silveira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Micky Febrian in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hastomo Budikusuma, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Robbie Putiray fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jeretwar FC's protests and gave Robbie Putiray a yellow card for diving instead. Robbie Putiray hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Hastomo Budikusuma successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Hastomo Budikusuma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Micky Febrian in the 54th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Fadhly Haryanto-Ie dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hastomo Budikusuma, 0-12. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Fadhly Haryanto-Ie took a quick shot and it went in 0-13 without a chance for Hastomo Budikusuma to make any attempt to save it. Hastomo Budikusuma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joko Waluyo, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Micky Febrian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Original Sabahan's supporters rose to their feet, but Micky Febrian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hastomo Budikusuma breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hastomo Budikusuma was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Micky Febrian capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Micky Febrian really showed his touch with that goal: 0-14. Micky Febrian in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hastomo Budikusuma, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 77 minutes into the match, Yao Jian Lei notched a goal, 0-15, to the right of Jeretwar FC's Hastomo Budikusuma. Hastomo Budikusuma was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fadhly Haryanto-Ie got free with Hastomo Budikusuma in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 84 minutes into the match, Jeretwar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Micky Febrian came free, but Hastomo Budikusuma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Jeretwar FC's Hastomo Budikusuma got control of the ball when Joko Waluyo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Micky Febrian had several of the Jeretwar FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 93 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-18 score and a disappointed Hastomo Budikusuma as he didn't even see the shot coming. Hastomo Budikusuma was a little too slow when Micky Febrian got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 0-19.
