The audience thought a goal was coming when 方云沙 got free with 尹昆渊 in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 任斌云 came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by ☜新锐☞星链's 龚笑誉. But to his dismay, 龚笑誉 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 49 minutes, 黄轩竞 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ☜新锐☞星链's supporters crossed their fingers, but 黄轩竞 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 何谦阳 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute, 何谦阳 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 63 minutes into the match, 何谦阳 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 尹昆渊. ☜新锐☞星链's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 何谦阳 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 何谦阳 couldn't finish the play. 蒋沙银 hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, 何谦阳 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind ☜新锐☞星链's goalkeeper 尹昆渊, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
