But to his dismay, 柳冰傲 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 重庆两江's 叶铮希 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 王义诚 in the 16th minute of play. 谢谦弘 struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. 叶铮希 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Charlotte. 王义诚 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 叶铮希 having to interfere. 王义诚 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. 叶铮希 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 王义诚 was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 25th minute. Charlotte's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 27th minute, 重庆两江's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after 谢谦弘 fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 王义诚 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Charlotte getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. 蔡宽斐 hit a great ball. 柳冰傲 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 龚烨沙 having to make a save. If 王义诚 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 王义诚 made a kick off. In the 57th minute 王义诚 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 叶铮希 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, 重庆两江's goal looked a bit too open when 王义诚 came free, but 叶铮希 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 柳冰傲 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, 龚烨沙 successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 龚烨沙 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 尤天平, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When 谢谦弘 came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Charlotte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 谢谦弘 couldn't finish the play. If 王义诚 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 柳冰傲 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. 龚烨沙 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, 重庆两江's 乔锋彬 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 龚烨沙 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as 范弘迅 kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving 龚烨沙. That made the score 1-3 in the 89 minute of play. After 93 minutes, 龚义亮 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Charlotte and the 重庆两江 players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Charlotte getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. 龚义亮 hit a great ball. In the 95thth minute of the game 柳冰傲 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Charlotte's 龚烨沙 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Charlotte's 王义诚 got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched 重庆两江 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
