In the 25th minute 叶誉建 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 尤烨勇 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Celestial Beings fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 尤烨勇 should have stopped the shot. When 洪辉义 fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Celestial Beings's protests and gave 洪辉义 a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd minute, 洪辉义 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 毛耀朗 might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 尤烨勇. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 毛耀朗 ran back to his position shaking his head. Celestial Beings's 尤烨勇 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 莫骏渊 in the 35th minute of play. When 毛洋广 came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Celestial Beings fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 毛洋广 couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 莫骏渊 in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 尤烨勇 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to 江西上饶变色龙队 getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. 叶誉建 hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the match, 江西上饶变色龙队's goal looked a bit too open when 冯迪光 came free, but 贺剑超 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 冯迪光 was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Celestial Beings's 尤烨勇 got control of the ball when 叶誉建 tried to sneak it across the goal line. 尤烨勇 had great luck who in the 56thth minute grab hold of the ball when 莫骏渊 from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 叶誉建 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but 尤烨勇 made a huge save. 贺剑超 came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Celestial Beings's 冯迪光. But to his dismay, 冯迪光 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 尤烨勇 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 莫骏渊, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 毛洋广 succeeded in the game's 74th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. 叶誉建 scored 2-3 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 尤烨勇, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Celestial Beings's 尤烨勇 got control of the ball when 叶誉建 tried to sneak it across the goal line. 莫骏渊 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 尤烨勇 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 莫骏渊, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
