After 6 played minutes 广州恒太 got a freekick which was hit by 魏翔银. 汪谦宇 made an important save on a dangerous shot by 于明强 in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute, 马誉松 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 史光铮 was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by 韩松棋 in the 19th minute of play forced 五原逐鹿's goalkeeper 史光铮 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 广州恒太's 汪谦宇 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save 广州恒太 from getting a goal against them. 广州恒太's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when 于明强 scored to the left of an out of position 汪谦宇, making the score, 1-1. 于明强 received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. 汪谦宇 came out and tried to block the shot, but 于明强 slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 31st minute. If 马誉松 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 45th match minute, 五原逐鹿 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 谢勇沙 to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of 广州恒太 booed when 五原逐鹿 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. 孙响岩 didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 于明强 to make the kick off. 韩松棋 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 史光铮 having to interfere. With a little luck, 五原逐鹿's 史光铮 got control of the ball when 韩松棋 tried to sneak it across the goal line. 韩松棋 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute, 孙响岩 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 汪谦宇 was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. 孙响岩 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 汪谦宇 having to interfere. In the 81st minute, 于明强 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 五原逐鹿 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. 韩松棋 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 史光铮 having to interfere. It was beautiful to see 五原逐鹿's 卓延扬 in action when he in the 89th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! 谢勇沙 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 于明强 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. 汪谦宇 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When 卓延扬 came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the 五原逐鹿 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 卓延扬 couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. 五原逐鹿 fully deserved thier win.
