After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, 曲誉真 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Central Coast Mariners's supporters rose to their feet, but 曲誉真 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 叶翔铮 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 许冰云 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 曾云傲, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by 吕烨竞 in the 9th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Central Coast Mariners's 蒋坚骏. 曲誉真 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When 陈义乐 came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Golden State Warriors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 陈义乐 couldn't finish the play. If 沈鸿荣 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 叶翔铮 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 曲誉真 in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute 曾云傲 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 许冰云 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by 严谦朗 in the 32nd minute of play forced Central Coast Mariners's goalkeeper 许冰云 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Golden State Warriors's goal looked a bit too open when 曲誉真 came free, but 叶翔铮 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Central Coast Mariners defense, 严谦朗 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 许冰云. The Central Coast Mariners fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 许冰云 should have stopped the shot. 曾云傲 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 叶翔铮 came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Central Coast Mariners's 曲誉真. But to his dismay, 曲誉真 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 曲誉真 made a kick off. 50 minutes into the match, Golden State Warriors's goal looked a bit too open when 齐斌适 came free, but 叶翔铮 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 52 played minutes Golden State Warriors got a freekick which was hit by 尹兴风. When 沈鸿荣 came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Central Coast Mariners fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 沈鸿荣 couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Central Coast Mariners booed when Golden State Warriors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. 曾云傲 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Central Coast Mariners's 许冰云 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 严谦朗 in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Central Coast Mariners's 蒋坚骏 got a free kick in the 57th minute. After some careless play in the Central Coast Mariners defense, 曾云傲 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 许冰云. The Central Coast Mariners fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 许冰云 should have stopped the shot. 曲誉真 was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 68th minute. Central Coast Mariners's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 许冰云 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 郑永霆 went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. 许冰云 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 曾云傲 in the 74th minute of play. In the 77th minute, 严谦朗 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by 齐斌适 in the 84th minute of play forced Golden State Warriors's goalkeeper 叶翔铮 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 严谦朗 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. 许冰云 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 曾云傲 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 许冰云 having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Golden State Warriors had won after a very even match.
