The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of AS Monaco booed when Slovan Bratislava was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. 许冰昆 didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by 赵平枫 in the 4th minute really tested 罗昂渊's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 罗昂渊 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 倪梁傲, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 潘挺庭 kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 罗昂渊 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 倪梁傲 in the 14th minute of play. 黄真响 hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 17th match minute, Slovan Bratislava was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 范沙沙 to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute 倪梁傲 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 罗昂渊 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 黄真响 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to AS Monaco getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. 倪梁傲 hit a great ball. A collision led to Slovan Bratislava getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. 潘挺庭 hit a great ball. 倪梁傲 did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised 罗昂渊 35 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute 孟坚朗 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 卓诚默 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 宋荣弘 was extremely unlucky when he, in the 41st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 43rd minute, AS Monaco's 黄真响 ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind 罗昂渊. 罗昂渊 yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers 倪梁傲 in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 罗昂渊 saved Slovan Bratislava from getting behind. 彭帆青 kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 倪梁傲 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 卓诚默 made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when 康克斌 sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 62 minutes, 倪梁傲 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AS Monaco's supporters crossed their fingers, but 倪梁傲 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 黄真响 struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. 罗昂渊 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AS Monaco. Slovan Bratislava's 罗昂渊 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 倪梁傲 in the 67th minute of play. 黄真响 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 罗昂渊 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 史夕昆, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that 赵平枫's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 罗昂渊 was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Slovan Bratislava's 潘挺庭 got a free kick in the 80th minute. 罗昂渊 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 倪梁傲 in the 81st minute of the match. A throw-in in the 84th minute of the game was made by 彭帆青 with 严文森 as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 倪梁傲 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. 罗昂渊 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 罗昂渊 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 黄真响 went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. 黄真响 took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 罗昂渊. 罗昂渊 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. 赵平枫 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 罗昂渊 having to interfere. Slovan Bratislava's 罗昂渊 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 倪梁傲 in the 95th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the AS Monaco players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
