After a rather tough play, Letting Go's 黄锋强 got a free kick in the 14th minute. 彭霖明 hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 严翔思 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flo 柳义云 having to interfere. After 20 played minutes Brighton Hove Albion got a freekick which was hit by 肖瑜坚. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 张辰烨 in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flo 柳义云 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Brighton Hove Albion getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. 肖瑜坚 hit a great ball. Flo 柳义云 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 张辰烨's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Brighton Hove Albion's 武邦晨 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 彭霖明 in the 31st minute of play. 张辰烨 scored 0-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Flo 柳义云, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Brighton Hove Albion were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when 彭霖明 made the kick off in the second half. 张辰烨 struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Flo 柳义云 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brighton Hove Albion. In the 60th minute, 彭霖明 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Letting Go fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When 梅冰轩 was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 71 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Letting Go's 梅冰轩 got a free kick in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by 严翔思 in the 73rd minute of play forced Letting Go's goalkeeper Flo 柳义云 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 张树枫 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When 雷云 fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Letting Go's protests and gave 雷云 a yellow card for diving instead. After 77 played minutes Letting Go got a freekick which was hit by 雷云. 张辰烨s short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Flo 柳义云 to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Letting Go's Flo 柳义云 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Letting Go from getting a goal against them. Brighton Hove Albion's 武邦晨 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 彭霖明 in the 93rd minute of play. Brighton Hove Albion's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Letting Go had won, even though Brighton Hove Albion had held more of the ball.
