After 13 minutes, 倪庭青 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 河南郑州虎鲨联队 and the Pafos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to 河南郑州虎鲨联队 getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. 倪庭青 hit a great ball. 沈奕鹏 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 陆文昂 having to interfere. 严昂景 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but 魏烽朋 made a huge save. 魏烽朋 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 严昂景 went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 沈奕鹏 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Pafos FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. 贺真升 hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, 河南郑州虎鲨联队's 沈振弘 tried to score from far away in the 30th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 31st minute of the match, 卓德坚 tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but 魏烽朋 saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 33rd minute, 卓德坚 reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of 魏烽朋. The goal made the score 3-0. 河南郑州虎鲨联队's 陆文昂 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 朱锋思 in the 36th minute of play. 卓德坚 kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. 陆文昂 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 朱锋思, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 47 minutes on the clock, 高川棋 commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 47 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for 河南郑州虎鲨联队! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

A very good chance for a goal. 严霆宇 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 魏烽朋 having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Pafos FC's goal looked a bit too open when 严霆宇 came free, but 魏烽朋 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 卓德坚 took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 魏烽朋. 魏烽朋 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. 魏烽朋 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 卓德坚 in the 92nd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, 河南郑州虎鲨联队's goal looked a bit too open when 沈奕鹏 came free, but 陆文昂 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If 沈奕鹏 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 97 minutes into the game, 倪朗凌 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. 陆文昂 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 河南郑州虎鲨联队's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
