The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cylon's 莫义林 quite brazenly broke a throw-in by 贺思克, made in the 5th minute of the game. In the 6th match minute, Cylon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 姚广邦 to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-2 when 姚广邦 sped through 广西玉林剑羚队's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of 蔡晨凌. 蔡晨凌 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 龙钢超, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If 龙钢超 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, 广西玉林剑羚队's Ricardo Eneas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. 蔡晨凌 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 龙钢超 in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of Cylon booed when 广西玉林剑羚队 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. 贺思克 didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 26 minutes, 庞桦景 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cylon's supporters crossed their fingers, but 庞桦景 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cylon's attentive 孙光亦 managed to snatch the ball when 贺思克 made a throw-in in the 32nd minute of the game. 33 minutes into the match, Cylon's 龙钢超 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 蔡晨凌 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 35thth minute of the game 龙钢超 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 广西玉林剑羚队's 蔡晨凌 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 龙枫博 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 武志林, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If 姚广邦 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 贺思克 during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Cylon booed when 广西玉林剑羚队 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. 贺思克 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, 龙钢超 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cylon's supporters rose to their feet, but 龙钢超 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 蔡晨凌 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 龙钢超 took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 蔡晨凌. 蔡晨凌 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After a rather tough play, Cylon's 莫义林 got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute Gabriel-Omar Bati shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 龙枫博 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 龙枫博 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 武志林 in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 66th minute, 尹桑文 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Cylon defense, 武志林 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 龙枫博. The Cylon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 龙枫博 should have stopped the shot. 76 minutes into the match, 武志林 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 龙枫博. Cylon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 武志林 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. 蔡晨凌 was a little too slow when 龙钢超 got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 3-4. After 87th play minutes 龙钢超 shot 3-5, a short shot which went by 蔡晨凌 and just under the crossbar into goal. 龙钢超 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but 蔡晨凌 made a huge save. 92 minutes into the match, 广西玉林剑羚队's goalkeeper 蔡晨凌 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 龙钢超. 蔡晨凌 was a little too slow when 龙钢超 got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 3-6. The Cylon supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cylon would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
