In the 20th minute, 马星轩 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that 陆挺迪's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 武崇景 was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Neide Mendes's 柯风强 was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 25th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When 柯风强 came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Neide Mendes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 柯风强 couldn't finish the play. 柯风强 had several of the 布尔人代表队's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 30 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. The referee ignored 布尔人代表队's protests and gave 马星轩 a yellow card for diving instead. 马星轩 hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. 武崇景 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 陆挺迪, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After a defensive mix-up in 布尔人代表队's zone, 柯风强 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 武崇景 came out of the goal and 柯风强 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 柯风强 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Neide Mendes fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Neide Mendes's 柯风强 looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by 柯风强 in the 76th minute of play forced 布尔人代表队's goalkeeper 武崇景 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
