When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 1-0 when 宋义扬 sped through 天津宝坻区黑虎俱乐部队's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of 沈志挺. 沈志挺 was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and 宋义扬 capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. 宋义扬 really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 宋义扬 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but 沈志挺 made a huge save. When 蔡烨烽 came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the 北京工业大学 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 蔡烨烽 couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, 北京工业大学's 潘旭凌 got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute, 邓斐鹏 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the game, 宋义扬 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. 沈志挺 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 宋义扬 received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. 沈志挺 came out and tried to block the shot, but 宋义扬 slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 28th minute. 沈志挺 made an important save on a dangerous shot by 宋义扬 in the 31st minute. 莫宽棋 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 秦弘竞, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 郑辉耀 hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. With his leg 沈志挺 managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when 北京工业大学's 宋义扬 fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 宋义扬 to strike the kick off in the second half.
