A wasted opportunity for Coventry City. 冯昆冰 made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when 康棋桑 sent off a good shot on target. 何雄海 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute, 白杰克 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute, 谢庭星 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 何雄海 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 孔朋晨 having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when 杨海然 made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, 白杰克 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coventry City's supporters rose to their feet, but 白杰克 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 孔朋晨 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 韩星松's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, 孔朋晨 skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 康棋桑 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 冯昆冰 having to make a save. Coventry City played a much better game than 贵州贵阳术师联队 and deserved their victory. The 贵州贵阳术师联队 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
