The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 龙广俊 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The long shot by 周晨军 in the 51st minute really tested 韩松超's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 尤志凡 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 冯骏飞 in the 57th minute of play. In the 60th minute, 冯骏飞 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by 彭风远 in the 63rd minute of play forced 北京火箭队's goalkeeper 韩松超 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
