After a rather tough play, Thorne AFC's 김 사공 got a free kick in the 4th minute. 김 양 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 이 승 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 정 승, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th match minute, Comberton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 최 사 to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute, one of Thorne AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Thorne AFC. When the match had been going on for 14 minutes, Comberton's 김 평 got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of 이 점. 17 minutes into the match, Thorne AFC's goalkeeper 이 점 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 박 이슬. In the 17th match minute, Thorne AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 김 위 to maneuver through the defense. When 김 평 came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Comberton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 김 평 couldn't finish the play. 김 간 kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 이 점 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 김 배, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 박 금 hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, 박 이슬 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Comberton's supporters rose to their feet, but 박 이슬 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 이 점 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 김 양 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 29 minutes into the game, 박 진 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Comberton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Thorne AFC the free kick. After 29 played minutes Comberton got a freekick which was hit by 박 진. 정 승 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 이 승 having to interfere. When 김 양 came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Thorne AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 김 양 couldn't finish the play. 정 승 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 김 제 hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Comberton defense, 김 양 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 이 승. The Comberton fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 이 승 should have stopped the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 정 승 to strike the kick off in the second half. 김 양 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 이 승 having to make a save. 62 minutes into the game, 이 권 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Comberton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Thorne AFC the free kick. In the 62nd minute, 이 권 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 63 minutes, 김 양 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thorne AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but 김 양 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If 박 이슬 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that 박 이슬's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 이 점 was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. 정 승 did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised 이 승 73 minutes into the match. 박 진 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 이 점 having to interfere. When 김 배 fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Comberton's protests and gave 김 배 a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Thorne AFC booed when Comberton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. 김 배 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 김 양 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but 이 승 made a huge save. 이 점 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 박 이슬 in the 83rd minute of play. The supporters of Thorne AFC booed when Comberton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. 김 제 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 이 승 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 정 승, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 정 승 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. 이 승 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by 정 승 in the 95th minute of play forced Comberton's goalkeeper 이 승 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Thorne AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Comberton throughout the match.
