After 23 played minutes Thorne AFC got a freekick which was hit by 김 간. After recieving a nice pass, Mansfield's 박 박 tried to score from far away in the 24th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 김 양 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. 김 운 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 정 승's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 김 운 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th minute, 김 양 fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of 김 운, passed just outside the right post. 정 승 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. 김 운 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mansfield's 김 운 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 정 승 in the 36th minute of play. The supporters of Thorne AFC booed when Mansfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. 김 궁 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 김 양 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 김 제 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The tension between the Thorne AFC and the Mansfield players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd minute, 김 사공 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as 김 제 kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving 이 점. That made the score 0-3 in the 86 minute of play. 김 운 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 김 양 in the 90th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Thorne AFC's goalkeeper 이 점 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 사공 오. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mansfield walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
