In the 2nd match minute, Thorne AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 김 간 to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Thorne AFC's zone, 남 경 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 이 점 came out of the goal and 남 경 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 11th match minute, Thorne AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 김 한 to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 22 minutes, 남 경 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Godmanchester's supporters crossed their fingers, but 남 경 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Godmanchester's goal looked a bit too open when 정 승 came free, but 교 즙 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Godmanchester's 김 빈 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 이 점 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 원 한 struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. 이 점 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Godmanchester. 교 즙 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 정 승 in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute of the match Thorne AFC got a corner. Godmanchester's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. 김 사공 ran over to the corner to take the kick. Godmanchester's 교 즙 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 김 양 in the 39th minute of play. After 39 played minutes Godmanchester got a freekick which was hit by 김 묘. In the 40th minute of the match 김 사공 shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but 교 즙 showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 교 즙 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 정 승 in the 41st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by 원 한 in the 42nd minute of play forced Thorne AFC's goalkeeper 이 점 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 동 은 received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. 이 점 came out and tried to block the shot, but 동 은 slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 45th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Godmanchester were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Thorne AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. 김 여 took the corner. Godmanchester's 김 여 was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but 이 점 in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 김 양's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 교 즙 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute, 원 한 made a precise shot to the right of 이 점. Thorne AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when 김 간 got free with 교 즙 in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 65 minutes into the match, Thorne AFC's goal looked a bit too open when 김 빈 came free, but 이 점 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 교 즙 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 김 빙 went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Thorne AFC's 정 승 slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of 교 즙. That made the score 2-3 after 70 minutes of play. 이 야 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute, 김 묘 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Godmanchester's goalkeeper 교 즙 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 김 빙. 이 점 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 원 한 in the 77th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, 김 양 notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Godmanchester's 교 즙. 교 즙 was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 82 played minutes Thorne AFC got a freekick which was hit by 박 금. The audience was convinced that 남 경's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 이 점 was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. 동 은 scored 3-4 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 이 점, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When 김 간 fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Thorne AFC's protests and gave 김 간 a yellow card for diving instead. 김 간 hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the match, Thorne AFC's goal looked a bit too open when 남 경 came free, but 이 점 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Godmanchester manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Thorne AFC to win.
