The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Seoul Eagles Fc. reached it. 김 정 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 이 홍, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After a rather tough play, Seoul Eagles Fc.'s 이 상 got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute, 이 홍 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 범 표 during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 범 표 hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Formby AFC's zone, 김 단 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 이 이 came out of the goal and 김 단 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 이 이 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 김 단, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. If 이 홍 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Formby AFC's 이 홍 got a free kick in the 25th minute. After having played for 29 minutes, 김 범 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Formby AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but 김 범 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 32 minutes into the game, 이 홍 recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of 김 정. 이 홍 showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by 김 범 in the 34th minute of play forced Seoul Eagles Fc.'s goalkeeper 김 정 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 35 played minutes Seoul Eagles Fc. got a freekick which was hit by 강 정. When 김 범 came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Formby AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 김 범 couldn't finish the play. Formby AFC's 이 홍 got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 김 범 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 김 정 having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 이 홍 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 57 minutes, 김 범 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Formby AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but 김 범 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 57th minute, 이 상 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 김 정 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 이 홍, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 김 범 struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. 김 정 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Formby AFC. If 이 홍 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Formby AFC fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Formby AFC's 김 범 looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Formby AFC's 이 이 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 김 단 in the 81st minute of play. A collision led to Formby AFC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. 범 표 hit a great ball. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Formby AFC's goalkeeper 이 이, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Seoul Eagles Fc.'s 김 정 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 김 범 in the 90th minute of play. 김 낭 charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 김 낭 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Seoul Eagles Fc.'s 김 낭 got a free kick in the 91st minute. 김 범 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. 김 정 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Formby AFC fully deserved thier win.
