Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 박 권 in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Philippe Van Havent prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 정 국 struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Philippe Van Havent didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ripley. Philippe Van Havent didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 박 권 went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. When 김 남궁 came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Ripley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 김 남궁 couldn't finish the play. 30 minutes into the match, 박 해 notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ripley's 봉 종. 봉 종 was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 33rd minute, 정 국 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 판 사 in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Philippe Van Havent saved Burnham on Crouch United from getting behind. 김 남궁's late challenge caught a Burnham on Crouch United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 김 남궁 helped the player get up and apologised. If 박 권 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

In the 64th minute 박 권 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philippe Van Havent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Burnham on Crouch United's 강 고 got a free kick in the 66th minute. 판 사 was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 73rd played minute, shot the ball from way out.
