When 김 수 fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vauxhall FC's protests and gave 김 수 a yellow card for diving instead. If 김 온 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 온 국 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 김 수, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg 박 동방 managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when Tatsfield's 김 경 fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 46th minute 김 온 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 온 국 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Vauxhall FC were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Tatsfield's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. 최 위 took the corner. With a little luck, Tatsfield's 온 국 got control of the ball when 김 수 tried to sneak it across the goal line. When 김 온 came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Vauxhall FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 김 온 couldn't finish the play.
