In the 95th minute, one of Taegeuk FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Taegeuk FC. 김 애 went to the wrong direction when 김 채 was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Daejeon United walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
